All our dogs are integral members of our family, central to our world and the work we do. However, we find it challenging to accommodate all the dogs we plan on breeding at our residence. Herein lies the role you play! From time to time, we aim to introduce a new puppy into our program, earmarked as a potential sire or dam. A guardian family is meticulously chosen to raise one of these future breeding dogs. It is our ultimate goal to place the young puppy with their life-long family as early as possible. Our home acts as a “home away from home” for them, serving as a secondary family. Our paramount concern for our breeding dogs is to ensure they are primarily cherished members of a family. Although the health and temperament of the dogs are significant, for the dog – a nurturing family environment remains our topmost priority!
Should your female dog go into heat, she will be accommodated in our residence for the span of her breeding process, which usually takes a few days. Importantly, she will be required to remain with us for the period she’s giving birth as well as raising her litter. Kindly note, all litters are bred and brought up in our home without exception. Guardians are welcome to visit at any time during these stages. Also, it’s crucial that guardians acquaint themselves with the heat cycles of their dogs and are skilled in recognizing these cycles. It is equally significant to ensure the female dog is kept away from all unneutered males during her heat cycle. Upon reaching approximately 4 years of age, female dogs are retired and then neutered, with these expenses being covered by us. Afterwards, the female dog will continue to inhabit her original home, living out the rest of her life with her guardian family.

Guidelines for the Guardians of female dogs
If your male dog is required for breeding purposes, he will reside with us for a time period of up to one week. It’s highly important to ensure that males are always kept separate from all un-neutered females. For any reason the male does tie with another female dog, you must inform me immediately. Dogs carry sexually transmitted diseases like humans. If a female contracts a disease, it can cause the female not to be able to breed or to lose a full litter. Our male dogs are typically retired around the ages of 5 years old. They’re then neutered and continue to live the remainder of their life with their family.aph
